Pronouns: she/her/they/them
Healing does not have to be lonely, isolating work. It can be playful as it is arduous, humorous as it is heavy. It can be full of joy and whimsy. It may demand a lot from us, but it is necessary all the same. As your companion on this journey, I will rise to this new challenge with you. For when we move through grief, trauma, rage, and anxiety, we create new possibilities for ourselves and the world around us. This, here, is the gift of therapy: the ability to show up as your best self, whether for yourself, a friend, a partner, a family member, or your community.
About Sarah
I am a queer, nonbinary, Vietnamese American therapist who values the healing nature of a collaborative, therapeutic relationship. As a therapist, I engage my clients with warmth, openness, and authenticity. Trained in both traditional talk therapy modalities and expressive arts therapy, I channel the power of creativity as a means of self-expression. I aim to create an environment that is safe and affirming for you to explore all the things you’ve kept hidden—from others, but also yourself.
Working with Sarah
My work is rooted in trauma-informed, person-centered therapy. I meet you where you’re at, with honesty and compassion. I utilize a blend of talk therapy, somatic therapy, and the expressive arts within my practice, wielding creativity to help you better understand yourself. You may engage in movement to connect with your body, reflect on an experience with a drawing, or express your feelings through a poem. Whatever it may be, I strive to create a space for boundless experimentation, where you can feel safe enough to play, imagine, and take risks. My goal is to give you the tools you need to dismantle harmful internalized narratives, embrace who you are, and discover what healing looks like for you.
