Therapist
Pronouns: she/her/hers
Choosing to seek support is an act of courage, especially in a world that often tells us to keep going, stay quiet, or carry it all alone. Just by being here, you’ve already taken a powerful step toward caring for yourself, and that matters. Therapy can be a space where you unlearn shame, reconnect with your truth, and feel held in the messiness of it all. You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin. You just have to show up and I’ll meet you there.
About Flora
I’m a queer Black femme therapist who believes you are the expert of your own experience. I’m here to walk alongside you with warmth, curiosity, and care, while offering a space where all of you is welcome, including the parts that may feel heavy, hidden, or hard to hold. My approach is collaborative, nonjudgmental, sex-positive, and deeply affirming of trans folks and queer people of color. I believe healing happens in connection, and I strive to co-create a space where you feel seen, respected, and supported exactly as you are.

Working with Flora
My work is rooted in psychodynamic and relational therapy, with elements of mindfulness, CBT, and narrative therapy woven in to meet your unique needs. I show up with empathy, presence, and care. I’ll also gently challenge you and ask questions that invite reflection and growth.
I don’t believe in “fixing” people. Instead, I see therapy as a collaborative process where we explore together, honor your truth, and build something meaningful in relationship. I believe healing happens when we both bring our full, authentic selves into the room. We’ll talk about heavy things, but that doesn’t mean it always has to feel heavy as there’s space here for laughter, softness, and ease, too.
Specialty
I specialized in gender and sexuality, TGNB identity and gender transition, trauma, self-esteem, relationship conflict, depression, anxiety, life changes, and sex-positive therapy.
