Pronouns: she/her/hers
Navigating through life can be challenging, with obstacles often seeming to block your path to a more balanced and fulfilling existence. However, I firmly believe that therapy can help reveal the inherent strengths and intrinsic resources you already possess to overcome these challenges. Whether you’re dealing with everyday stressors or more complex issues, I am here to offer guidance, support, and practical tools to help you move forward.
About Clara
I am queer, biracial, and adopted. Raised in Brooklyn, I grew up surrounded by the diversity of human experiences and identities. I ground my practice in the belief that individuals are the foremost authors and authorities of their own lives. I am dedicated to supporting your aspirations and assisting you in discovering and harnessing your inner strength, resilience, and hope.
Working with Clara
I use holistic approaches to explore the influences on your daily life. By focusing on strengths-based interventions I strive to create a collaborative space where you feel heard, respected and in control of your therapeutic journey. I incorporate narrative therapy, to explore and examine the issues you face, so that together we can find multiple solutions. I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to understand how thoughts can affect emotions and behaviors, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to expand the tools at your disposal when managing overwhelming emotions. Together we will work towards achieving your self-defined goals.
